History

1966
Gary L. Mickley started by purchasing a welder and operated in a two-car garage in Huntington, Indiana doing all sorts of odd jobs. It was his desire to be self-employed

1968
Gary formed a partnership with John Stoffel, who worked in the business part time, and they move to 433 N. Broadway manufacturing and selling two-wheeled trucks and welding cylinder carts. M&S Sheet Metal Co. had begun.

1969
Gary and John took a third partner William L. Shaffer and incorporated.

1970
Two brothers, Paul & Tom Partee bought stock in the company and M&S started manufacturing gasoline pumps for the Partee Company. John Stoffel sold out that same year.

1973
Three acres were purchased in a new industrial park on the northwest side of Huntington and a building was erected at 5 Commercial Road, our current location.

By 1985
Three stockholders had sold out and Gary L. Mickley owned the company solely. The Mickley family continues to own and operate M&S today.

Over the years there have been three major and 10 other smaller additions to the building with the most recent being a powder coating paint line.
